Aamir Khan Productions Announces Once Upon A Mic

Aamir Khan Productions has expanded beyond the silver screen with the launch of Once Upon A Mic, a new open mic experience designed to highlight real people and their journeys. The initiative is launched under the production house's channel, Aamir Khan Talkies, in collaboration with Kommune.

The platform aims to provide an inclusive space for creative expression, including poetry, rap, spoken word, and storytelling from across the country, giving a platform to voices that often go unheard.

First Performance Features Saniya MQ

The inaugural performance for the platform features Saniya MQ, a rapper hailing from Govandi, Mumbai. Bringing her lived experiences and untold truth to the mic, Saniya sets the tone for the new initiative.

Announcing the launch on social media, Aamir Khan Productions stated: "Yeh woh mehfil hai jaha kahaniyan udaan bharegi, abb Aamir Khan Talkies par, aam janta kahaniyan bhi sunayi dengi! Kicking things off is Saniya MQ, a rapper from Govandi bringing her world, her experiences and her voice to the mic.
