Abu Dhabi Royal Family Member Mahrah Al Nahyan Admits to Child Neglect

An Abu Dhabi royal family member, identified as 32-year-old Mahrah Al Nahyan, was found unconscious on a street in London with an unattended three-year-old child who nearly walked into the road. The case reached Southwark Crown Court, where records noted that Nahyan is a member of the ruling royal family through marriage. She has now admitted to child neglect.

According to court records and reports, Mahrah Al Nahyan was unresponsive for half of an hour after being found. Upon waking, she reportedly stated, "This is not a slaughterhouse; why do you care so much? Why are you so worried?" Records presented in court also revealed that she had been undergoing drug addiction treatment at the Priory Center in Woking, Surrey.
