Abundantia Entertainment is celebrating its 13th anniversary by outlining an upcoming content slate and expanding its use of artificial intelligence through its division, aiON.

Abundantia Entertainment has marked 13 years in the Indian entertainment industry by outlining its upcoming content slate and announcing plans to expand its use of artificial intelligence.

Founded by Vikram Malhotra in 2013, the studio has produced films and streaming titles including Baby, Airlift, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Ram Setu, Sukhee, Shakuntala Devi, Sherni, Jalsa, the Chhorii franchise, and Breathe.

The studio highlighted 2026 releases such as the Prime Video series Daldal starring Bhumi Pednekar, the Prime Video Hindi original film Subedaar directed by Suresh Triveni and starring Anil Kapoor, and the Netflix release Maa Behen featuring Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Dharna Durga, and Ravi Kishan.

As part of its next phase, the studio is expanding its focus on artificial intelligence through aiON, its AI-powered creative division. Projects in development through aiON include Chiranjeevi Hanuman: The Eternal and a partnership with InVideo to develop AI-powered films over the next two years.

Vikram Malhotra commented on the milestone, stating, "Thirteen years ago, we started Abundantia with the belief that great entertainment begins with understanding the audience and then giving exceptional storytellers the freedom and resources to delight them." Regarding the studio's AI plans, Malhotra stated, "AI will change many aspects of how entertainment is imagined, crafted, marketed and consumed. Our approach is clear: Human First, AI Empowered."

The studio's upcoming slate includes the Netflix multi-season drama Family Business directed by Hansal Mehta and starring Anil Kapoor and Vijay Varma, Prime Video's Sundar Poonam directed by Pulkit and starring Sanya Malhotra, and the theatrical film Angre directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. Additional projects involve filmmakers Suresh Triveni, Rajesh Krishnan, Vishal Furia, Mayank Sharma, Bhav Dhulia, Palash Vaswani, Madhumita S, and Anuj Dhawan, alongside a thriller titled Heavy Metal in partnership with Almighty Motion Picture.
