Amitabh Bachchan Recalls Shooting Deewaar and Kabhi Kabhie Back-to-Back on KBC 18 After Ayushmann Khurrana's Tribute

A musical tribute on Sony Entertainment Television's Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18 turned into a nostalgic journey for host Amitabh Bachchan. Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan appeared on the show to promote their upcoming film Udta Teer.

During the episode's birthday month celebrations, Ayushmann sang the title track of Kabhi Kabhie Mere Dil Mein as a tribute. The performance prompted Bachchan to share memories of working on the Yash Chopra film in Kashmir. Bachchan recalled that while shooting Kabhi Kabhie, he was simultaneously shooting another Yash Chopra film, Deewaar.

Bachchan expressed amazement at how Yash Chopra, known as a romantic director, transitioned between the romantic film and the starkly opposite Deewaar, noting that filming for Kabhi Kabhie began just two days after wrapping up Deewaar.

Following the tribute, Ayushmann and Sara celebrated Bachchan's birthday month by asking him to deliver iconic dialogues across various emotions. Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18 airs Monday to Friday at 9 PM on Sony Entertainment Television.
