Anupamaa actor Rinku Dhawan speaks out against typecasting in the television industry

Television actress Rinku Dhawan has addressed the issue of typecasting within the entertainment industry. Having spent nearly three decades in Hindi television, she shared a message on Instagram emphasizing that her career should not be solely defined by the negative or grey-shaded characters she has played.

Reflecting on her career, which began in the 1990s, Rinku noted that she did not start out playing negative roles. She stressed the importance of acknowledging an actor's skill and talent rather than restricting them to a specific image.

Hello.. this is Rinku Dhawan / A thought that has been on my mind for a long time. I am an Actor. Please don't typecast me. I didn't start my career as an Actor in negative role/grey shade. If I have been a part of this Amazing Industry for 30 years is because of the skill, the talent .. Please don't take that away from me by Typecasting me
