Arjan Bajwa Highlights the Importance of Mental Health and Managing Burnout

Actor Arjan Bajwa discusses the difference between physical and mental exhaustion, recognizing burnout, and maintaining balance in a high-scrutiny profession.

Actor Arjan Bajwa, known for his roles in films such as Rustom, Fashion, Kabir Singh, and Demon Hunters, and upcoming appearance in Madhur Bhandarkar’s The Wives, has shared his perspective on mental health, burnout, and the pressures of professional life.

Highlighting the difference between physical and mental fatigue, Bajwa noted that physical exhaustion can often be addressed through sleep or rest. However, he explained that mental exhaustion persists even when disconnecting from professional and social life, as the mind continues to work.

“The main emphasis has to be on your mental well-being as well. When your mental peace is disturbed, when you can't stop thinking about certain issues, and when something is really bothering you, that is when one needs to take a step back,” Bajwa stated, adding that mental health is just as important, if not more important, than physical health.

Addressing the challenges of his career, Bajwa acknowledged that professional expectations and ongoing scrutiny can become overwhelming. He believes individuals in this field must be mentally strong enough to handle such responsibilities. To manage the pressure, he emphasizes maintaining balance, preserving personal sanity, and finding peace in one's personal space.
