Ashoke Pandit Reacts to Tiger Shroff Firing Incident, Cites Fear in the Film Industry
FWICE Chief Advisor Ashoke Pandit condemns the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff, expressing concern over industry safety and comparing the situation to the underworld era.
Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) Chief Advisor Ashoke Pandit has strongly condemned the firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai, calling it a serious threat to safety within the film industry.
The firing occurred on Sunday evening near Juhu’s Pushpa Narsee Park when motorcycle-borne assailants opened fire. Tiger Shroff escaped unharmed, but his driver, Firdaus, and a bystander sustained injuries and were hospitalised.
Speaking to ANI, Pandit expressed deep concern over the daylight attack, stating that Tiger Shroff was fortunate to survive close-range shots. He warned that an atmosphere of fear and a 'fear psychosis' have taken hold in the industry, comparing the situation to the 1980s and 1990s when the underworld used intimidation.
Pandit expressed confidence in the Mumbai Police and appealed to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his deputies to treat the matter with the utmost seriousness to prevent the situation from spiraling out of control, especially since someone has reportedly claimed responsibility.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has described the incident as serious and condemnable, assuring that an investigation is underway. Actor Amol Parashar also reacted to the event, calling it very scary and stating that criminals must be punished.
