Avengers Endgame: Encore Collects Rs. 23.86 Crore in Five Days at the Indian Box Office

The re-release of Avengers Endgame: Encore has delivered an impressive performance at the Indian box office, holding reasonably well during the weekdays and amassing Rs. 23.86 crores in its first five days.

Despite limited screen availability that kept the opening below initial expectations, the film opened to a huge Rs. 6.07 crores on Friday. Collections rose to Rs. 7.31 crores on Saturday before adjusting to Rs. 6.37 crores on Sunday. Following a Monday collection of Rs. 1.90 crores, discounted ticket pricing on Tuesday helped earnings rise marginally to Rs. 2.19 crores. Based on current trends, the film is expected to finish its first week between Rs. 27 and Rs. 28 crores.

Premium formats played a significant role in the re-release's success. IMAX contributed Rs. 5.64 crores across 34 screens, accounting for roughly 23.65% of total Nett collections. Meanwhile, the Infinity Vision format generated Rs. 4.96 crores, contributing approximately 20.82%. Together, IMAX and Infinity Vision drove Rs. 10.61 crores, making up 44.47% of the overall Nett collections.

While the all-time re-release record held by Sanam Teri Kasam (2016) at around Rs. 42 crores remains out of reach—partly due to anticipated competition in Week 2 from Drishyam The Conclusion—Avengers Endgame: Encore is closing in on the Hollywood re-release record currently held by Interstellar (2014) at around Rs. 29 crores. The film is projected to surpass that milestone by Sunday, October 4, or during the following weekdays.
