Bigg Boss 20: Mahhi Vij Reveals Why She Refused Alimony from Jay Bhanushali

Bigg Boss 20 contestant Mahhi Vij opened up about her decision not to seek or accept alimony or maintenance from her estranged husband, Jay Bhanushali. Speaking with Aasif Khan inside the house, Mahhi stated that she chose to be financially independent to secure her daughter Tara's future on her own.

During the conversation, Mahhi discussed her personal life and court proceedings, claiming that the judge asked her four times to reconsider her decision not to take alimony or maintenance. “I didn’t take a single penny in alimony or even ask for maintenance. I’m here on my merit, only so that my daughter’s life is secured,” she said, adding that Jay earned his money through hard work.

Mahhi also addressed her relationship with Jay, noting that he encourages her to step out and offers to look after Tara. Her comments revisit earlier rumors from January surrounding their divorce announcement, which claimed she had demanded Rs 5 crores in alimony—reports she previously denied in a YouTube vlog.
