Read about Chhad De, the new song from Meethe Mein Kya Hai composed by Amit Trivedi, ahead of the film's October 30 Netflix premiere.
The makers of Meethe Mein Kya Hai have released ‘Chhad De’, the latest song from the upcoming family entertainer directed by debutant filmmaker Radhika Bansal.
Following the festive mood of the previously released track ‘Jagmaga’, the new song brings together themes of hope, romance and fresh beginnings. Composed by Amit Trivedi, ‘Chhad De’ features the vocals of Mohit Chauhan and Akanksha Sethi, with lyrics penned by Kumaar.
The song explores the idea of moving forward by letting go of worries and things that hold one back, focusing on the possibilities that lie ahead. Romance is also woven into the track, reflecting the possibility of unexpected connections and second chances.
Meethe Mein Kya Hai is set over four days during Diwali at the family matriarch’s home in Lucknow, following a multigenerational family reunion. Written and directed by Radhika Bansal, the film is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 30.
