Collin Gosselin Discusses Strained Relationship With His Siblings in New Interview

Kate Gosselin’s son, Collin Gosselin, is drawing attention for his memoir, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood, which was released on October 13, 2026.

Collin has been estranged from his mother, Kate, since 2016, when she sent him to a behavioral health institution at age 11 due to alleged behavioral issues. In a recent interview, Collin spoke openly about his strained relationship with his siblings.

Collin is one of six sextuplets, including Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Hannah, and Leah, and also has twin sisters, Mady and Cara. Speaking with Page Six in a recent interview, Collin shared a message for his seven siblings, with whom he has been estranged for nearly a decade. He noted that the last time he told his siblings 'I love you' was at a reunion approximately 14 to 15 years ago.
