Creator Apoorva Compares NYU and New York Fashion Week Routine to Hannah Montana

Creator Apoorva recently compared her real-life routine in New York to Miley Cyrus' iconic character Hannah Montana. While preparing for her first-ever New York Fashion Week appearance in a get-ready-with-me video, she highlighted the contrast between her academic life and her presence in the fashion and entertainment scene.

Apoorva moved to New York to pursue an MBA at NYU while continuing her work as an entrepreneur and creator. Her days shift between attending classes and preparing for fashion events. Pointing out the differences from the fictional double life, she noted that while Hannah Montana had a large pink revolving closet, she has been living out of a suitcase for 31 days.

The suitcase assisted her during her first New York Fashion Week appearance, where she attended the show for Nazranaa, a New Jersey-based South Asian bridal boutique. She wore a shimmery ensemble featuring an embellished corset-style top, flowing skirt, and a bindi.

By utilizing the Hannah Montana reference, Apoorva framed her academic commitments on one side and Fashion Week appearances on the other through a pop-culture lens, contrasting the fictional character's setup with her own suitcase.
