Director Abhishek Pathak Discusses Fan Theories and Climax for Drishyam The Conclusion

Director Abhishek Pathak has shared insights into developing and protecting the climax of the upcoming film Drishyam The Conclusion. The movie marks the final chapter of the franchise and features the return of central character Vijay Salgaonkar, played by Ajay Devgn.

While working on the conclusion, Pathak reviewed fan theories shared online on platforms like Reddit. The team deliberately avoided ideas that had already been discussed by audiences to ensure the final reveal remained unexpected.

Pathak also noted that the team utilized voice-overs and editing during a pending 10-day shoot to control the presentation of details and hide information. He emphasized the importance of the ending, stating, “The climax is the real (star of the) show, If the big reveal can be held for as long as possible, that's the best thing.”

The film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, Kamlesh Sawant, Ishita Dutta, and Mrunal Jadhav. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the screenplay is written by Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan, and Parveez Shaikh.

Presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Panorama Studios, along with producers Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam The Conclusion is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026. The makers have also released a teaser for the song ‘Muskura Do’, sung by Lucky Ali.
