Disha Patani Marks A Decade in Cinema as M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story Turns 10

Disha Patani has marked a decade in films, reflecting on 10 years since beginning her journey in cinema. Having made her Telugu debut with Loafer in 2015 and her Bollywood debut in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story in 2016, the actor shared a note of gratitude on social media.

Reflecting on her career via Instagram Stories, Disha wrote, “Grateful to have completed a decade into this journey of exploring myself. Blessed to have lived through these beautiful characters that'll stay with me forver and for everyone who gave me the opportunity to do so. Thank you for all the love and support. Beyond grateful.”

Her milestone coincides with the 10-year mark of her Hindi film appearance as Priyanka Jha, the first love of former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, in the Neeraj Pandey-directed biographical sports drama M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, which starred Sushant Singh Rajput in the title role.

Disha's career features an active lineup of projects, including roles in O' Romeo, Welcome to the Jungle, and as the female lead opposite Emraan Hashmi in Awarapan 2. Her future slate includes Hindi, Tamil, and international projects, such as her Hollywood debut in Holiguards Saga: The Portal of Force alongside Kevin Spacey, a return as Roxie in Kalki 2898 AD Part 2, and the Tamil historical epic Sangamithra.
