Drishyam 3 Movie Review: Ajay Devgn's Vijay Salgaonkar Returns in a Thrilling Battle of Wits

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion officially hit theatres on October 2, 2026. The release date was a deliberate move to keep the audience connected to the plot, referencing the date protagonist 'Vijay Salgaonkar' (Ajay Devgn) hatched his plan to plant false alibis and save his family from murder charges.

Banking on the nostalgia of the first two films, Drishyam 3 arrived with twists, turns, and a gripping story that carried forward the franchise's core authenticity. Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat lock horns in a thrilling battle of wits.

Impact of the New Direction

The conclusion keeps the audience on the edge of its seat with a gripping plot, signature twists, heightened tensions, and a classic cat-and-mouse chase. The central question driving the trilogy—"How far will you go for your family?"—looms large. Director Abhishek Pathak made a major gamble by steering Drishyam 3 away from Mohanlal's Malayalam version and giving the plot a new direction.
