Drishyam The Conclusion Actor Ajeet Singh Pallawat Reveals Original Role Was Draupadi
Ajeet Singh Pallawat discusses his viral dialogue from Drishyam The Conclusion, working with Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat, and how his character's play sequence was changed from Draupadi to Chanakya just before shooting.
Actor Ajeet Singh Pallawat, whose character Raghu Nayak in Drishyam The Conclusion popularized the viral dialogue “Madira peeke so gaye?”, revealed that he was originally supposed to play Draupadi in the film's play sequence.
According to Pallawat, the makers and the director made a creative decision just a few days before the shoot to change his role from Draupadi to Chanakya to avoid any misinterpretation. The sequence was part of his character's established love for acting, written by Aamil Keeyan Khan, though some scenes were eventually edited out for pacing.
Pallawat expressed gratitude for the audience's reception of the dialogue, which was also mouthed by co-stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Kamlesh Sawant's characters. He also shared his positive experiences working alongside Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat, noting their depth as performers who draw from real-life experiences.
Reflecting on his career and background, Pallawat discussed his theatre roots, his education at the National School of Drama (NSD), and his various roles in projects including Sector 36, Vedaa, Criminal Justice, Poster Boys, and upcoming titles such as Sar Car Ki Seva Mei and Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga 2.
