Elli AvrRam Opens Up About Experiencing Her First Anxiety Attack on the Sets of Chumbak

Elli AvrRam has opened up about a deeply personal experience from the sets of her upcoming web series Chumbak. While playing the flamboyant and comic character of Alicia, she was navigating a challenging phase in her personal life and experienced an anxiety attack for the first time in her career.

Reflecting on the traumatic experience, Elli credited the entire team for supporting and caring for her. She stated that the set felt like one big family, praising director Aatish and producer JD alongside the other actors for creating an uplifting and supportive environment.

Playing Alicia also helped Elli lean into a fun and free space. She noted that the role differed from her previous comic outing in Goodbye alongside Neena Gupta, describing Alicia as louder and more diva-centric. Elli prepared for the character with the guidance of director Aatish, whom she called a genius in comedy.
