Ghar Pariwar: Exploring Family Bonds and Values on Stage

The play highlights the emotional journey of a middle-class family living together under one roof, reflecting the values, conflicts, and changing relationships within a household. At the center is the father, a retired and principled government employee who believes strongly in discipline, honesty, and family unity.

His elder son, a successful chartered accountant, gradually becomes absorbed in his professional life and personal ambitions, leading to misunderstandings, frequent arguments, and growing tension with his father. The mother silently bears the strain while the daughter-in-law eventually returns and helps bridge the generational divide.

Written and directed by Harish Kotwani, Ghar Pariwar is presented by Sindhi Rang Manch, a theatre group dedicated to promoting Sindhi language, culture, and art through stage performances.
