Halle Berry's personal life is under scrutiny following child abuse allegations made by her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez. Martinez accused Berry of attacking their 12-year-old son, Maceo, requesting sole custody and a temporary restraining order against her. The court granted a temporary restraining order, ordering Berry to stay at least 100 yards away from Martinez, while Berry fired back by citing Martinez's violent past.

Halle Berry's Response After Court Granted Restraining Order

According to court documents filed in early October 2026, Martinez claimed that Berry choked their son during a heated argument on September 26, 2026. The court partially granted and partially denied the request, allowing Berry unsupervised meetups with their son only during court-ordered visitation—two days a week and every other weekend—until an October 16, 2026 hearing.

Amid the ruling, Berry vehemently denied the claims through her attorney, Marina Beck, who informed TMZ that the court filing was baseless.
