Halle Berry's Child Support and Joint Custody Agreement Resurfaces Amid Ex-Husband's Claims

Halle Berry pays a huge amount to Oliver Martinez for the joint custody of their son, Maceo

Halle Berry and Oliver Martinez had a long divorce battle. In August 2023, Berry’s divorce from Martinez was finalized after almost eight years of negotiations. As part of the divorce settlement, Berry agreed to pay Martinez USD 8,000 a month in child support. She also agreed to pay him 4.3% of any income she receives above USD 2,000,000 in additional support.

The former couple agreed to the joint custody of their son, Maceo, which means they share decision-making on things such as their son’s school enrollment, doctor appointments, and counseling. Under the settlement, Berry pays for Maceo’s private school tuition, uniforms, school supplies, and any extracurricular activities.
