Jacqueliene Fernandez Launches Charity Closet Sale via YOLO Foundation to Support Animal Welfare
Jacqueliene Fernandez has launched a charity closet sale through the YOLO Foundation, featuring items from her personal wardrobe to raise funds for animal welfare and promote pre-owned fashion.
Jacqueliene Fernandez has launched a charity closet sale through her social initiative, the YOLO Foundation. The fundraising avenue aims to support animal welfare and promote the reuse of fashion.
The collection features pieces from the actor’s personal wardrobe, including red carpet and performance looks, high street fashion, athleisure, and limited-edition accessories. Items are available across different price points, ranging from everyday outfits to statement pieces.
Speaking about the initiative, Jacqueliene said, “At YOLO Foundation, we believe in making giving accessible, and connecting broadly in as many ways as possible. I’ve loved the process of sifting through some of my favourite clothes and accessories, and imagining the new life they will have with someone else, all while helping raise funds for our furry friends.”
The inaugural closet sale benefits the Raksha Foundation, which focuses on animal welfare. Representatives from the organisation expressed gratitude for the support, noting that contributions help provide food, medical care, shelter, and protection for animals.
The collection is available globally via DolceVee.com/JacquelineFernandez. The initiative includes an environmental impact component that lets buyers view estimates regarding environmental savings from purchasing pre-owned fashion instead of newly manufactured clothing.
Using the Dolce Vee Clothing Environmental Footprint Calculator, developed with the Centre for Environmental Research & Education, purchasing Jacqueliene’s collection pre-owned is estimated to save more than 850 kg of carbon and 6,40,000 litres of water compared to new manufacturing.
Dolce Vee founder Komal Hiranandani commented on the collaboration, stating that Jacqueliene's expansive and exquisite collection answers fans' long-standing requests for her closet sale while supporting her passion for animals.
