John Cusack Sparks Plastic Surgery Rumors With Rare Interview Appearance

Actor John Paul Cusack, known for his work in projects spanning over four decades including Sixteen Candles (1984), The Grifters (1990), Con Air (1997), and Being John Malkovich (1999), recently sparked plastic surgery rumors during a rare public appearance.

In September 2026, John made an interview appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast hosted by Josh Horowitz. During the conversation, he discussed why he stepped away from traditional films, talked about a television adaptation of his work, and debunked Hollywood casting rumors. However, his physical appearance drew intense online scrutiny from fans, who noted a taut, red-haired look and shared before-and-after photos highlighting the difference.
