Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul, and Ananya Panday to Co-Host IIFA Awards 2027 in Abu Dhabi

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards has announced its hosting line-up for the 27th edition, bringing together Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul, and Ananya Panday. The four entertainers will co-host the IIFA Awards Night 2027 at Etihad Arena, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, on January 23. The two-day IIFA Weekend and Awards will take place on January 22 and 23, 2027.

The line-up features a mix of returning hosts and a first-time addition. Karan Johar and Maniesh Paul have previously hosted the ceremony, while Ananya Panday will host for the first time. The event marks another association between IIFA and Abu Dhabi.

Karan Johar shared his excitement about returning for his sixth time as host, noting the unpredictability and magic of a live IIFA night. Varun Dhawan expressed his honor at returning to host at Yas Island, highlighting the celebration of the Indian film fraternity on a global stage. Ananya Panday recalled that her IIFA journey began in Abu Dhabi with her first-ever performance, and she expressed enthusiasm for stepping into her new role as a co-host. Maniesh Paul also shared his enthusiasm for returning to the stage for the 27th edition.

The two-day event will feature performances, awards, and celebrations of Indian cinema on an international stage.
