The controversy began after Kelly attempted to purchase a wooden mechanical bird named the Singing Bird (Molly), priced at USD 15,000, and alleged that the store treated her as though she could not afford it.
Following the public feud between the singer and the store, Kathy Griffin shared her thoughts during an interview with Page Six. Kathy stated that she is on Kelly's side and criticized the business owners, calling them "petty" for how they handled the controversy.
