Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's Property Dispute Returns to Court
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom face fresh court drama as elderly businessman Carl Westcott seeks permission to question them about money he claims remains unpaid from the sale of their USD 15 million estate. Westcott sold the property to the exes in 2020.
According to court filings obtained by TMZ, Westcott states that Perry made a partial payment of USD 900,000 in June 2026, but the remaining balance has not been paid. This latest request brings Perry and Bloom back into a property dispute that has lasted for years.
The legal situation stems from the 2020 sale of the eight-bedroom Montecito estate. Perry and Bloom, dating at the time, purchased the property through Perry's business manager, Bernie Gudvi, intending to use the home to raise their daughter, Daisy Dove, born in August 2020.
