Kranti Prakash Jha Recalls Working with Filmmaker Prakash Jha on Sankalp

Actor Kranti Prakash Jha has shared his experience working with filmmaker Prakash Jha in the project Sankalp, in which he plays the character Kasturi. Having grown up watching the filmmaker's movies like Gangaajal and Aarakshan during his childhood, the collaboration was significant for the actor.

Kranti explained that the opportunity to meet the director came through producer Disha Jha, who is Prakash Jha's daughter. He described receiving the call as an unexpected moment, comparing it to a child's dream coming true or a child receiving a trophy.

During their first meeting, Prakash Jha discussed the character of Kasturi with him. Kranti also noted that his upbringing in Bihar influences his respectful body language around senior figures, viewing them like a guru, father, or elder brother.

He recalled that his first scene as Kasturi was a challenging punishment sequence. Through Sankalp, Kranti has collaborated with a filmmaker whose work he has followed since childhood.
