Kristi Noem has filed for divorce from her husband Bryon Noem after 34 years of marriage.
Former Department of Homeland Security secretary Kristi Noem has filed for divorce from her husband, Bryon Noem, after 34 years of marriage. According to reports, the divorce paperwork was filed on September 28, 2026, in their home state of South Dakota. The couple, who share three children, were childhood sweethearts and stayed together for more than three decades.
Earlier, in March 2026, Kristi was fired following her alleged extramarital affair with political adviser Corey Lewandowski, which affected her marriage to Bryon. The divorce news also follows reports that Bryon participated in online fetish forums.
