Kubbra Sait Completes First Via Ferrata Summit While on Her Period

Actor, author, and adventurer Kubbra Sait recently completed her first-ever Via Ferrata summit while on her period. Known for her roles in Sacred Games and Farzi, Sait shared photographs from the difficult climb and reflected on resilience, adaptability, and trusting the human body.

Describing the climb as physically demanding, Sait noted that it provided an opportunity to reflect on what the human body can manage during difficult circumstances. She highlighted the value of stepping outside familiar situations and taking on challenging experiences.

Reflecting on the climb, Sait wrote, “Trust your feet.” She pointed out that while people often discuss and prepare for change, true transformation comes from placing oneself in unfamiliar situations and facing difficulties.

Sait also discussed voluntarily choosing difficult experiences, believing that doing so helps build the mental and emotional resilience required to handle unexpected hardships in life.

During the climb, Sait was joined by a 69-year-old mountain guide with over four decades of climbing experience. She noted that young children have also completed the route, which made her realize how fear can sometimes make a challenge seem larger than it actually is.

By completing the climb while on her period, Sait brought attention to the common perception of menstruation as a barrier to physical activity, demonstrating how the body can adapt to demanding situations.

Concluding her message, Sait encouraged others to face challenges head-on: “climb the mountain, trust your feet and do the hard thing—you may discover a version of yourself you never knew existed.”
