Kubbra Sait Questions Gossip and Speculation Surrounding Govinda’s Personal Life

Actor Kubbra Sait has spoken out about the online speculation surrounding Govinda’s personal life, questioning how women seen around the veteran actor are frequently labeled on social media as “mystery women” or “alleged girlfriends.”

In a video posted on Instagram, Kubbra reflected on her admiration for Govinda, recalling his status as a 1990s icon and superstar. She questioned how online speculation transforms into narratives without allowing those involved a chance to address them, noting that any woman breathing air near the actor gets pulled into rumors.

Kubbra also discussed Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, whom she described as funny, outspoken, outrageous, and incredible. She questioned why Ahuja and other women caught up in such rumours are expected to turn around and offer justifications for them, asking when gossip stopped being gossip and turned into judgment.

Acknowledging that public figures face scrutiny, Kubbra drew a line between professional work and private life, asking why personal lives are treated like a public spittoon. She urged people to respect women and avoid demanding justifications, while also criticizing the creation of clickbait viral content and nasty comments based on unverified speculation. Concluding her video, Kubbra quoted the advice, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all,” and encouraged audiences to simply enjoy being fans.
