Lindsay Clancy's lawyer, Kevin Reddington, has shared details regarding her current state of mind in an interview with People. Reddington stated that Clancy is on a 24/7 suicide watch at Tewksbury Hospital, a state psychiatric facility, and lives in a state of constant sadness.
In 2023, Clancy's three children died after she strangled them in the basement. Following the incident, she attempted suicide by trying to jump out of a window and slitting her wrist and neck. She survived the attempt, but her lower body was left paralyzed.
