Maddock Films Releases Music Video for ‘Mere Rehte’ from Prahaar
Maddock Films has released the music video for ‘Mere Rehte’ sung and composed by Vishal Mishra for the upcoming film Prahaar - The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam.
Following the trailer launch of Prahaar - The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam, Maddock Films has released the music video for “Mere Rehte.” Presented by T-Series, the stirring track is composed and sung by Vishal Mishra with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
The music video features visuals from the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai, capturing the city's collective memory and introducing the story of Ujjwal Nikam's pursuit of justice through India's legal system. The track portrays the concept of a man acting as a shield for his country as a lawyer.
Vishal Mishra stated that the 26/11 event is close to his heart because Mumbai is a lifeline, and the vision for the song came naturally to him given his deep love for the country.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films, Prahaar – The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam is directed by Avinash Arun and stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film is scheduled for a cinema release on October 16, 2026. The project also features National Award-winning actor Lalit Prabhakar playing the role of Ajmal Kasab.
