Madhuri Dixit: A Romantic-Thriller Play by Sparsh Productions

Madhuri Dixit is a romantic-thriller play that explores the intricate dynamics of a unique relationship between Ramakant and his wife, Madhuri. Following an unfortunate accident just six days after their wedding, Madhuri has been in a vegetative state for seven years, battling a rare condition known as Locked-In Syndrome. Trapped in her own body, she remains aware of her surroundings but cannot speak, react, or communicate.

Ramakant, an engineering college professor, is portrayed as a devoted husband caring for Madhuri. Their routine involves visits from Shanti, their maid, and Pratik, a neurosurgeon friend who conducts routine check-ups. The narrative takes a dramatic turn when Pratik notices peculiar behavior from Ramakant, uncovering truth and deceit in a suspenseful game.

The play is presented by Sparsh Productions, a theatrical company with a history spanning over two decades and more than 2,000 shows in India and overseas.
