Madonna Prepares for the 2026 MTV VMAs With 11 Nominations
Madonna is set to make her first MTV VMAs performance in 23 years, leading this year's nominations with 11 nods and reportedly performing alongside Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter.
Pop icon Madonna is set to make a dazzling appearance at the 2026 MTV VMAs. More than four decades since her MTV Video Music Awards debut, fans still remember her iconic bridal look from the 1984 MTV VMAs, where she performed Like a Virgin in a sheer white lace tulle bustier, skirt, veil, and 'Boy Toy' belt after climbing down a 17-foot-tall wedding cake at Radio City Music Hall.
Madonna is opening this year’s VMAs and is leading with 11 nominations. This marks her first performance at the VMAs in 23 years, and she is reportedly scheduled to perform with Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter.
