Michael Douglas Confirms Secret Affair With Kathleen Turner After Years of Denying Rumors

Michael Douglas has confirmed that he and Kathleen Turner were secret lovers, after denying rumors for 40 years. Prior to the confirmation, Kathleen recalled that Michael's ex-wife confronted her on set.

Michael has been married twice. He married his first wife, producer Diandra Luker, in 1977. They split up and their marriage ended with a divorce finalized in 2000. After his split from Diandra, Douglas married Catherine Zeta-Jones, whom he remains with today. In 1983, while Michael was shooting Romancing the Stone with Kathleen Turner, their closeness sparked speculation about a relationship. Although Michael was married to Diandra at the time, his recent revelation notes he was separated from his first wife by the time he filmed Romancing the Stone. Kathleen and Michael previously denied having a relationship, but the actor recently confirmed they were secret lovers. Three years prior, Kathleen confessed to falling in love with the actor.
