Producer Murad Khetani has expanded into Tamil cinema with the release of the entertainer Baththa, starring Vijay Sethupathi. Produced under Cine1 Studios, Atlee's A for Apple Studios, and Star Studio18, the film marks Khetani's first foray into the Tamil film industry.
Reflecting on the project, Khetani shared that the response to the film has been encouraging. Regarding the lead actor, he noted that Vijay Sethupathi brings honesty and individuality to his character, praising the understanding between the actor and director T Balaji. Khetani also credited director T Balaji, music contributor Sai Abhyankkar, and Sai Prithviraj for their contributions to the project.
