Mustafa Burmawala Reveals First Look Poster and Teaser for Abbas-Mustan Thriller 3 Monkeys

Mustafa Burmawala is returning to the big screen with the upcoming thriller 3 Monkeys, directed by the filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan. The promotional campaign recently kicked off with the release of the first poster and a teaser.

The cast features Mustafa Burmawala as Akbar, Vishal Jethwa as Amar, Tenzin Dalha as Anthony, and Arjun Rampal as Sanjay. While the promotional material introduces these key characters, details regarding the larger storyline and their motivations remain under wraps.

Expressing his excitement about the project, Mustafa Burmawala stated, “I’m really excited to be a part of 3 Monkeys, especially because it is an Abbas-Mustan film. They have created some of the most memorable thrillers, so getting an opportunity to work with them is very special for me. This film has a very interesting and different thriller story, and I’m sure audiences are going to enjoy the twists and turns. I’m really looking forward to seeing how viewers react to it.”

The teaser features the imagery of the Three Wise Monkeys and introduces Amar, Akbar, and Anthony as three masked men involved in a potentially dangerous situation alongside lighter moments. The film's concept interprets the philosophy of “Bura Mat Dekho, Bura Mat Suno, Bura Mat Bolo” with the line, “Sab Dekho. Apni Suno. Bekhauf Bolo.” Directors Abbas and Mustan noted that there is more happening behind the masks for audiences to discover in cinemas.

The complete premise of 3 Monkeys has not yet been disclosed by the makers, leaving open questions about a possible robbery, heist, or larger conflict.

3 Monkeys is scheduled for a worldwide cinematic release on December 4, 2026.
