Following its twin National Award wins at the 72nd National Film Awards ceremony held in Gujarat on September 22, Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin is preparing for the highly anticipated sequel. The film won Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Special Effects.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Ashwin stated, “It’s a blessing to have a star like Prabhas trust your vision.” Prabhas headlines the cinematic universe, which blends an unprecedented scale with a futuristic interpretation of Indian mythology.
