Nani Praises Baazigar and Jokes About Shah Rukh Khan at The Paradise Press Meet

Actors Nani, Sonali Kulkarni, Kayadu Lohar, and Raghav Juyal attended the Mumbai press meet for their upcoming film, The Paradise. In a rare move for a Pan-India film press event, the cast took questions directly from the media.

During the event, Nani spoke about the film's intense emotional core, comparing it to his childhood favourite commercial films like Baazigar. He stated that while modern commercial films often touch upon emotions lightly due to forced songs and fights, The Paradise aims to capture deep intensity where audiences will genuinely feel the pain and love of the characters.

During a Q-and-A session, when Raghav Juyal was asked what is common between Nani and Shah Rukh Khan, Nani jumped in to say, "Our measurements!" Explaining further, Nani recalled working on Yash Raj Films' 2014 South film Aaha Kalyanam, where he was told during a photoshoot that he shares the exact same measurements as Shah Rukh Khan. Nani joked, "I have the exact measurements but not the exact payment... I wish it was the exact payment as well!"

Raghav Juyal added that both Nani and Shah Rukh Khan treat everyone equally on sets, showing great respect to every unit member and maintaining patience.

The Paradise is scheduled to release in cinemas on September 24.
