Nushrratt Bharuccha Shares Hospital Health Update and Thanks Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol

Nushrratt Bharuccha has shared a fresh health update from her hospital bed, posting a video on Monday, 12 October, that shows her recovery following an accident in Bali.

In the video, Nushrratt rests on the bed while hospital staff feed her a meal. She listens to the Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol song "Gerua" from the movie Dilwale. She captioned the post, "And just like that, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol bring a smile to my face. A reminder, things get better.... little by little... they always do. Healing slowly, dreaming endlessly..."

This follows her earlier update on October 10, where she shared an image of an empty reclining wheelchair facing a sunset with the caption, "Been chasing sunsets forever, And just like that.. my view changed. But, Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost."

Nushrratt suffered a spinal fracture in early October 2026 during a work-cum-holiday trip to Bali, Indonesia. She was hospitalized locally, and her team arranged for her to be airlifted to Mumbai via air ambulance on October 2 to undergo corrective spinal surgery and rehabilitation. Her team stated that her public commitments and shooting schedules have been put on hold.

Representatives confirmed that online claims regarding a permanent impact on her mobility are unfounded, as her medical team made no such prognosis.
