Olivier Martinez says son Maceo wants to tell his side of the story to the court

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez's ongoing custody dispute over their 13-year-old son, Maceo, has continued as Martinez informed the court that their son wants to share his account of alleged physical abuse by his mother, which Berry has denied.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Martinez argued in recent filings that Maceo should be allowed to speak directly to a judge about events at Berry's home on September 26, 2026. Martinez stated that his son wants to address the court regarding the alleged incident and his custody preferences, writing, "He should have the opportunity to have his voice heard regarding what he experienced that night." Martinez also expressed concern that blocking his son from speaking to the judge could discourage him from reporting problems in the future.

Additionally, Martinez challenged the involvement of Berry's 18-year-old elder daughter, Nahla, who submitted a statement defending her mother and denying that she witnessed abusive behavior.
