Pankaj Tripathi Pays Tribute to Nana Patekar, Calling It 'The End of an Era'

Pankaj Tripathi has shared a heartfelt tribute following the passing of veteran actor Nana Patekar. Remembering his Kaala co-star, Tripathi described Patekar not only as an admired actor but also as a mentor who heavily influenced his understanding of the craft.

Reflecting on their time working together, Tripathi noted that Patekar's guidance extended far beyond acting, offering advice on life choices and the finest nuances of performance. “For me, this feels like losing a Guru… this truly feels like the end of an era,” Tripathi said, adding that Patekar's absence is a painful and personal loss for the film fraternity.

Tripathi praised Patekar's extraordinary ability to fully immerse himself in a character while leaving a distinct personal mark on screen. He emphasized that Patekar's legacy in Indian cinema remains eternal and will continue to inspire future generations of performers.
