On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is preparing to return to Indian cinema in Varanasi, an ambitious upcoming large-scale fantasy adventure film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film stars Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role, with Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran playing a pivotal character. Varanasi is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release across multiple languages on April 7, 2027.
