Bigg Boss 20 premiered on September 5, 2026, on JioHotstar and Colors TV. Among the contestants, singer Qazi Touqeer quickly became a fan favourite and one of the most entertaining characters on the show. Recently, fans grew concerned about his well-being and journey after he took a backseat in recent episodes and was seen feeling sick with an extremely high fever.
Reports subsequently circulated claiming that Qazi Touqeer had left the show after being diagnosed with dengue. In response, the singer's team issued a statement on October 6, 2026, via Qazi's Instagram handle. The clarification stated that while the singer has been suffering from a fever for the last few days, he remains within the premises of the Bigg Boss 20 house.
