Raashii Khanna Opens Up About Linguistic Preparation and Upcoming Projects
Raashii Khanna discusses the challenges of preparing for roles across multiple languages and shares updates on her upcoming projects including Farzi Season 2, Dharman, and an untitled film.
Navigating Multiple Languages in Cinema
Raashii Khanna has established herself across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. Working across these industries requires her to constantly adapt to new languages, accents, and dialects. During a recent ‘Ask Me Anything’ session, Khanna described the process as a continuous learning experience.
Speaking about her linguistic preparation, Raashii stated, “It honestly feels like I am in a lifelong exam that just doesn't end. There's always another language, another accent, another pronunciation to get right. And unfortunately, there's no graduation day.”
Upcoming Projects
On the work front, Raashii Khanna is currently filming the second season of Raj & DK’s Farzi, returning as RBI officer Megha Vyas alongside Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi.
She is also set to star in the Tamil-language action thriller Dharman alongside Rajinikanth, and has an untitled project with Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and director Anees Bazmee in the pipeline.
Recently, Khanna also marked 13 years in Indian Cinema.
