Ramesh Taurani and Kumar Taurani Urge Actors to Sign More Films, Praise Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn
Ramesh and Kumar Taurani urge actors to sign more films despite the fear of flops, praising stars like Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn.
Ramesh Taurani and Kumar Taurani spoke to Komal Nahta and urged actors to sign more films. Ramesh Taurani discussed past practices of promoting films and noted the trust that existed between filmmakers and actors. Kumar Taurani stated that actors are now panicky about flops and should instead work on two to three movies a year while remaining economical with producers, pointing out that the actors and director of Dhurandhar opted for profit sharing with low upfront fees.
Ramesh Taurani compared actors' current fears to a legal principle, stating that actors think, “Bhale 10 hit chhoot jaaye, koi parwah nahin. Lekin 1 flop nahin chahiye!” He added that Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn deliver four films a year and remain strong, while mentioning Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming project King.
Additionally, Kumar Taurani addressed the Vashu Bhagnani legal battle and questioned the court location chosen for the case.
