Ramesh Taurani Reveals 'Yaara O Yaara' Was Initially Locked for Raja Hindustani
Ramesh Taurani shared trivia about the music of Raja Hindustani and Jeet, revealing how the song 'Yaara O Yaara' was swapped between the two 1996 films.
Ramesh Taurani and Kumar Taurani recently discussed their work on the music of notable films, sharing trivia about the 1996 movie Raja Hindustani.
According to Ramesh Taurani, during the first music sitting for Raja Hindustani, five songs were locked. Initially, the team finalized 'Yaara O Yaara Milna Humara' instead of 'Kitna Pyaara Tujhe Rab Ne Banaya'. However, director Dharmesh Darshan later dropped 'Yaara O Yaara Milna Humara' in favor of 'Kitna Pyaara Tujhe Rab Ne Banaya' because the lyrics could incorporate the film's title line, 'Sabse pyaara mera yaara Raja Hindustani'.
Ramesh Taurani stated that he then told Nadeem (of Nadeem-Shravan) to lock 'Kitna Pyaara Tujhe Rab Ne Banaya' and suggested using 'Yaara O Yaara' in the 1996 film Jeet instead, which is how it became part of that project.
Ramesh also highlighted the collaborative nature of working with Dharmesh Darshan, noting that the director added 5-6 lines to the female version of the song 'Aaye Ho Mere Zindagi Mein Tum Baahar Ban Ke'.
