Rang Raakh Explores Humanity and Conflict in New Adaptation of Piyush Mishra's Work

Sunday Club Part 3 presents Rang Raakh, a theatrical adaptation of Piyush Mishra's "Jab Shehar Hamara Sota Hai" directed by Riken Ngomle.

Presented by Sunday Club Part 3, Rang Rakh is an adaptation of Piyush Mishra's “Jab Shehar Hamara Sota Hai.” The play explores humanity in a world of routine violence, examining a society marked by bloodshed and emotional numbness while questioning if love can survive loss.

The central conflict explores inheritance and conscience through Virasat and Vivek. Virasat represents generational traditions, prejudices, and cruelty, while Vivek stands for moral courage, awareness, and humanity.

The play is directed by Riken Ngomle, an actor, director, martial artist, and theatre educator from Arunachal Pradesh, and a graduate of the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, who also trained at the Grotowski Institute in Poland. Ngomle serves as an Assistant Professor of Acting at NSD and Chief of the Theatre-in-Education (T.I.E.) Company, having directed over 30 plays.
