Rashtranayak Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Play Details
An overview of the play 'Rashtranayak Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee', detailing its story about Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, written by Jyoti Jeliya and directed by Sajjad Hussain Khan.
Rashtranayak Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee
The play begins with the childhood of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and showcases how his father, Ashutosh Mukherjee, inspired patriotism in his children. As he grows up, Dr. Mukherjee joins the Congress Party and serves as the Minister of Industries. Following India’s independence, political differences lead him to leave the Congress Party and resign from his post. On the advice of Shri Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar, also known as “Guruji,” and following the ideology of “One Nation, One Constitution, and One Flag,” he forms Bhartiya Jansangh alongside Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay. He devotes his life to this cause, protests the decision for a separate flag and a separate Constitution for Jammu and Kashmir, and ultimately martyring himself for the nation's integrity.
