Rasika Dugal Learned Piano for Four Months for Her Role in Little Thomas
Actor Rasika Dugal spent four months learning classical piano pieces for her role in Little Thomas.
Actor Rasika Dugal underwent four months of piano training for her upcoming film Little Thomas, learning to play intricate classical compositions by Mozart, Schumann, and Chopin. Directed by Kaushal Oza and co-starring Gulshan Devaiah, the film explores the quiet rhythms and everyday chaos of a Goan family, with Dugal playing Jessie Miranda, a character deeply connected to music.
Dugal trained under piano instructor Nitesh Dean to learn around 45 seconds of complex pieces from scratch. Because her preparation coincided with the filming of a horror show, Dugal carried a portable keyboard to her other shoot and practiced between takes to avoid any setbacks.
Little Thomas is scheduled to release on October 23. The film is produced by Luminoso Pictures, Civic Studios, Good Bad Films, Ranjan Singh's Flip Films, and Anurag Kashyap.
