Raz B's 911 Call Surfaces Following the Death of His 3-Month-Old Son, Astro

B2K’s Raz B and his wife, Mona Li, are experiencing a difficult time following the death of their 3-month-old son. According to an Atlanta Police Department incident report, officers responded to a “person down” call at the rapper’s home on September 8, 2026. EMS arrived and pronounced the baby, named Astro Monte Thornton, dead. Days after the tragedy, Raz B’s frantic 911 call has surfaced.

Raz B begged for help on 911 call after his son stopped breathing

When Raz B found his 3-month-old son, Astro, unresponsive, he dialed 911. In the call obtained by TMZ from the morning Astro died, Raz can be heard begging dispatchers to send help, stating, “My son died. My son is not breathing.” When asked to confirm his address and the baby's age, Raz pleaded, “Please hurry up.”

When the dispatcher asked if the baby was breathing, Raz reiterated, “No, ma'am, he's not breathing. I think he's dead.” The call became increasingly emotional when Raz stated they were already performing CPR on the infant and lacked the patience to continue answering questions.
